Letters, <\/em>a nationally respected, peer-reviewed journal. The publication features short stories, essays, nonfiction, poetry, art, photography, and interviews related to the various experiences lived by writers and artists of the African Diaspora, as well as the African continent. The aim is to provide accomplished and emerging Black creatives with opportunities to expand the canon of literature and art. He was a renowned African American novelist and essayist and was a writer-in-residence and professor at Medgar Evers College from 1981 to 1987. The Spring 2024 issue of the Killens Review,\u00a0<i>All That We Carry:\u00a0 Where Do We Go From Here?\u00a0<\/i>centers on<i>\u00a0<\/i>stories, essays, creative nonfiction, poetry, art, and photography inspired by questions posed by Dr. Tiya Miles, eminent historian and creative writer, and Rev.
